Rhinoplasty, commonly known as a “nose job,” is a facial plastic surgery procedure to improve the shape, symmetry, and function of the nose. This operation can improve your breathing if you have a deviated septum.
What is recovery like after rhinoplasty?
You will have splints on top of your nose for support during the first few days of your recovery. You can expect some mild swelling, which is normal and should subside within a few weeks. Minimal bruising is possible, but Dr. Copit's unique, meticulous surgical techniques eliminates the risk of forming severe “black eyes” after surgery. Medications will be prescribed to reduce discomfort, promote healing, and reduce the risk of infection. Avoid strenuous exercise for three to six weeks after surgery, or as instructed by our team. You can expect to return to social activities within two to three weeks.
