A brow lift is a surgical procedure to elevate your brow line and smooth creases and lines on your forehead. It raises the skin and soft tissue of the forehead and subtly lifts the eyebrows and upper eyelids to create a more refreshed, healthy, youthful appearance.
What can I expect in a brow lift procedure?
You will undergo a brow lift under intravenous sedation or general anesthesia. We will recommend the best surgical plan for you, which will be one of the following approaches:
- In an endoscopic brow lift, a small incision is placed within the hairline. A thin tube with a camera at the end (the endoscope) and special instruments are placed through these incisions and used to adjust muscle and tissue beneath the skin and correct creases and furrows in the forehead.
- In a coronal incision brow lift, an incision is placed from across the top of the head, hidden within the hairline. Our surgeon will gently lift the forehead skin to make tissue and muscle adjustments with direct visualization. Then the skin will redraped, and the incision closed. The incision line and surgical scar will be very well hidden within the hair.
